KIKA TABLEWARE

The lotus pond – a bone-china dinner set commissioned for a tableware brand – Kika Tableware. I drew my motifs from my walks to the neighborhood park during the monsoon, replete with lush lotus pools, a fictional swan, dragonflies, and leaves growing with abandon, engulfing the plates and my imagination.

The plates were finally finished with 24k gold accents.

My intention for the user of the crockery, is that it break the litany of routine, and invoke a refreshing image of the tropics, while sipping their cup of afternoon tea.
